one girl with courage, makes a majority

When it happens.

Al-fatihah to my dearest uncle who just passed away 2 days ago after 4 years (if i’m not mistaken) of being in a coma.

The saddest part of the story (in my opinion) is that he didn’t get the chance to prepare for what was coming. He just went for a very minor operation. But only God knows that that day he walked into the hospital was going to be his last day talking, playing and sightseeing with …his family.

4 years having to take care a paralyzed person wasn’t an easy job but my aunt persisted. Never did I see any trace of regret on her face. She had a full time job and was supporting 3 kids. What a supermom she is!

Lessons learned – you might not have tomorrow to finish the work you put off from doing today. You might not have tomorrow to tell and show those around you how much you care for them.

Other lesson learned – when about to take up something risky (like going for an operation), run a thorough research and demand total commitment/responsibility from the other party. Because you’re not just putting your life on the line but also your loved ones..

Another lesson learned – sacrifice requires a love that’s unconditional and a love that does not give up.

Our time is indeed very limited.
My only wish is that…when I die, I won’t die with regrets.

Respect, give it to get it.

In the end, it’s your ability to treat others good unconditionally that matters. All those knowledge, experience and perspectives you have worth none if you can’t grant those around you respect and tolerance.

You were once.

Those with knowledge and perspectives should not look down upon those without. Remember that at one point in your life, you started by wandering aimlessly too. But that does not mean you didn’t have directions. Some people are simply ahead of others. As long as one is actively searching, he/she will get there and all of our paths will finally cross.

So let’s not let your truth become a blind and a blinding passion.
